Ironic Contradictions

I'm a long time reader - since way back when I was seven. That makes it over three quarters of my life that I will be a reader for. But it is worth it. When I'm not reading or wasting my time online on here or Goodreads I'll be off playing video games, studying teaching and messing around with friends and pop culture. Or reading some more.
Hull Zero Three - Greg Bear While I am a big fan of unique science fiction ideas, space travel and aliens the writing in this particular novel did not collaborate with my love of ideas. The writing seemed disjointed and rushed, possibly partly due to the highly minimalistic style used.

Personally if this had been a film I may have enjoyed it. The fact that the writing rushed here and there and then left so many gaps made reading it a real chore. Personally I love a written novel where you don't have to constantly work out what is going on and where the character is. But that is what this forced me to do. It was, to say the least, confusing.
