Ironic Contradictions

I'm a long time reader - since way back when I was seven. That makes it over three quarters of my life that I will be a reader for. But it is worth it. When I'm not reading or wasting my time online on here or Goodreads I'll be off playing video games, studying teaching and messing around with friends and pop culture. Or reading some more.
Day of the Predator - Alex Scarrow Day of the Predator was...good but not as good as the first TimeRiders novel. It had action but it didn't have the same kick to it as the other novel. However it looks like the next two books pick up that action again...

Now to discuss briefly my thoughts on time travel.

I have come up with the belief that time travel back in time is impossible. Because time travel back in time is a circular action. If you go back in time you inevitably change something - which changes the future you were already in meaning you could end up not being born meaning you've created a paradoxical situation. Time travel back in time could only work if you going back in time made something work that needed to happen in the future. And that's the only way I could see it happening...

Travel into the future on the other hand (the left) that might be possible. Because the future isn't set in concrete like the past you might be able to travel into the future. However you might not be able to get back because as I said, travelling back to a known time might change something and therefore create a paradox... So there could be time machines already invented. Only they stranded passengers two hundred years in the future. I wish...

Ah well I guess I won't be able to get myself a TARDIS then and go off exploring time and space. So for now I'll settle back with this series and a few other books and read them. Oh and if you like time travel read this series...

About a 3.5 star rating I say.
