Ironic Contradictions

I'm a long time reader - since way back when I was seven. That makes it over three quarters of my life that I will be a reader for. But it is worth it. When I'm not reading or wasting my time online on here or Goodreads I'll be off playing video games, studying teaching and messing around with friends and pop culture. Or reading some more.

9. A Book You Thought You Wouldn't Like But Ended Up Loving

For me that would have to be Patrick Ness' Chaos Walking Trilogy, particularly the first novel The Knife of Never Letting Go. While the cover had always intrigued me I don't judge books just by the cover. It's never a wise practice. Yet the way in which the book looked inside didn't quite appeal to what I thought a book should be. But still eventually I was overcome and had to read the book and then once I'd read that one in quick succession I finished the trilogy which is one of the finest YA trilogies I have read!
