Ironic Contradictions

I'm a long time reader - since way back when I was seven. That makes it over three quarters of my life that I will be a reader for. But it is worth it. When I'm not reading or wasting my time online on here or Goodreads I'll be off playing video games, studying teaching and messing around with friends and pop culture. Or reading some more.

17. Favourite Quote from Your Favourite Book

Well, now, this depends on the situation. I do love using 'fly you fools'. As I mentioned The Lord of the Rings is my favourite novel ever. But my favourite is probably this:

'"I wish Bilbo had never found the ring, I wish it had never came to me."
"So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."'

It's a quote about destiny really. You're given a chance to do something, but not the choice of what falls into your lap: you have to make the most of that chance or waste it!
